The BAT Triumvirate Sparks an AI Map War
All three BAT companies have explored and applied AI in the mapping field to enhance the intelligence of maps. Baidu Maps focuses on AI navigation and lane-level mapping for B-end applications. Amap is more centered on C-end travel services. Tencent Maps is shifting towards providing digital solutions for B-end clients while retaining C-end capabilities.
